Add H.265/HEVC support
Bridge does not work with H.265/HEVC files. It neither plays the video in the preview pane, nor does it cache thumbnails for any H.265 files. I am running the latest version of Bridge (12.0.0.234) on Win10. Adobe support have confirmed that H.265/HEVC is not supported.
When I enquired about this, Adobe's own automated support system provided a link about someone requesting this in 2017! H.265/HEVC is no longer an emerging format. Set Thumbnails manuell from Clipboard
a way to set your own thumbnails from the clipboard.
We work a lot with CAD files, since these are not directly supported, it would be a great help to assign them manually using a screenshot and the clipboard.1 vote -
Bridge 2022 is painfully slow to open Thumbnails
I updated now Bridge 2022 is really slow to open thumbnails. Please do not release software that does this to your users. Increase the number QA you or go back to releasing the Beta first to a select group. How do you fix it?

Update image files embedded thumbnails
Make possible to update image files (TIFF / JPEG) embedded thumbnails because some files sometimes have wrong thumbnail.

ProRes RAW thumbnail preview in Bridge
ProRes RAW files are viewable on the timeline of PPro, but alas they are not so in Bridge. I like to use bridge to sort, catalogue files before editing in other applications, so thumbnails are essential. If ProRes RAW are viewable on the sourtce or monitor panels of PPro, then why not in Bridge? The usage of ProRes RAW will increase exponentially going forward so this is deffinately needed...actually, increasing vide functionality will be required in LR too!

Bridge CS6
Please could you support CS6 ?
I was creating folders - but for some reason was unable to name them (some I could but most I couldn't) On the Adobe Forum it was suggester to do a 'reset. Alt+cmnd on start up. This didn't help and now the whole program is stuck - 'building previews' (for sub folders) . I was a CC user but had to revert to CS because CC was so buggy and slow. Support preview of .MOGRT files
We have lots of .mogrt files created in Premiere and After Effects (Lower Third graphic files). It is very hard to find or preview them outside Premiere. Make these available to preview in Bridge.

"Show Transparency" option should remove thumbnail background based on alpha channel data if it exists.
When an image file has an alpha channel, the preview panel should show what the image looks like with background removed based on the alpha channel.

Thumbnails compatible with AVA CAD/CAM files
We use a program in our studio called AVA CAD/CAM for wallcovering designs. We also use Adobe Bridge to browse our cloud storage which gives us great response times for populating thumbnail previews. The only files we have trouble with are .ava3/.ava4 files as it shows no previews for at all. I have been in touch with AVA support thinking it may have been something wrong on their end but, as far as they are aware, it is compatibility issues with Bridge. In Thumbnail placement for a contact sheet: Add a "Leave where placed"
Bridge offers "Across First" and a "Down First", but I'd like to see an option to simply let the user place them where desired. Similarly, if one is removed, please don't slide the remaining thumbnails to adjust for its removal.

Quick editing of selection
Adobe should add quick picture editing tools for brightness-contrast and etc. while you’re looking through few previews. Just to make it easier to do a tonal correction of selection which should be tonally same

double click on picture let open fullscreen picture instead of open Lightroom as option
If I double click on a picture in thumbnail mode Photoshop is openend with the picture.
It would be nice if I could change this behavior in the settings to do other things. One option I like would be to view the image in full-screen like it you push the space-button on keyboard.
How often I didn´t think about the fact that Bridge do something other than most other programs on this genre (like ACDSee) do and bam Photoshop is loading.. ;-)2 votes
