    I am experiencing the same issues in 2020 and 2019 with Canon RAW files. The option to return to 2018 has been removed in Creative Cloud so cant go back to what was working. I deleted both versions and reinstalled (did not import settings) and the problem still exists. Takes a long time to load thumbnails or they don't load at all and I just see gray flickering boxes.

    Thumbnails are slow to load or not loading at all for Canon RAW files. I just see gray flickering boxes. The option to return to 2018 has been removed in Creative Cloud so cant go back to what was working. I deleted both 2019 & 2020 and reinstalled (did not import settings) and the problem still exists. Purging cache doesn't work either.
