This is a feature that helps you auto detect a corrupt GPU and turns on software rendering for quality preview and thumbnail.
If you correct issues with GPU, this setting will automatically turn off.An error occurred while saving the comment Lorenzo Colloreta commentedYes it IS a bug! on Mac you simply CAN NOT have a "corrupt GPU" as there are NO drivers you can mess with and NO strange hardware you can put inside, especially if you're using a MacBookPro 🤣 So, at least, if Adobe believes my GPU in my MacBookPro 2019 is not good anymore or they cannot work out the code to use it, then just disable the window prompt, as this is not something you can change.
So please, THIS IS A BUG, expected behavior should be "disable that GPU but show no message".Lorenzo Colloreta supported this idea · -
