It's very confusing when you reject files, then hide rejects. When you then use the filter panel to filter files by type, Bridge informs you no files exist by excluding from the lists, or showing incorrect number.

There are several ways Bridge can help but probably the best is to show how many are hidden, if any (see attached mockup). There are probably better ways to show it but I would connect rejected files with the number enclosed in red brackets.

The Ratings category is also affected when you hide rejects. It disappears! There are rejected files, so Bridge should keep it in view. Just because there are no other ratings, doesn't mean I may not wish to filter by Reject when rejects are hidden. I just want to hide them in the Content panel to reduce clutter.
