Search inside After Effects Projects (.aep files) for Composition names
It would be great if the Bridge Search could bring back results that include the names of Compositions inside of an After Effects project file.

When trying to move raw files in a bridge folder to another folder it moves the jpeg file as well
When ever I try to select and try to move multiple RAW files from a folder in bridge to a new folder, it moves the jpeg files (not selected) and associated with the RAW files as well.

Allow for delimiters in shoot date for sub-folder names during upload from camera
When I upload from memory card, I use Bridge as my program of choice but I notice that delimiters (hyphen or underscores) aren't an option when creating folders by shoot date. When I connect my camera, I use my camera's software, which allows for delimiters. With it, I can choose to have delimiters for both the folder and filenames, neither, or one and not the other. I prefer delimiters for folder names but not for filenames.
Example: 2018-11-25 vs 20181125
It would be nice if I could keep the folder names consistent to my preference and not have to manually…

Bridge with Windows 10 doesn't allow typing numbers in filenames and folder names
Please fix the bug that no longer allows me to use Bridge to rename a filename or folder name using numbers! Bridge does not recognize the number keys across the top of my keyboard.

A second "open with" feature that acts as an "edit with"
This would be functionally identical to "open with" but renamed as "edit with" and would allow users to select two different applications to be associated with a media type.
For example the user could have, for an audio file:
Open with > Windows Media Player (to preview)
Edit with > Adobe Audition (to edit)This would save a lot of switching back and forth when wanting to alternately preview a media and edit it via different software.

The ability to print page thumbnails at full size directly from Bridge.
Printing directly from Bridge without having to resort to Photoshop or Acrobat simply eliminates an unnecessary export to another application. There are extremely few apps these days which don't have some method of sending a document or image to a printer; it is especially germane to an interface like Bridge.

Add a field that adds the number extension at the renaming area of photo downloader
At the photo downloader window in the renaming area can you please add a field that adds the file's number extension? You can do that in Lightroom in Bridge but not in the Photo downloader window

Scroll Bar Arrow Gone!
The arrows on the top and bottom of the scroll bar are now gone. I used to use them while culling to click to the next photo when selecting multiple photos and holding down Command. Now if I hold down command and press an arrow KEY, it opens up the photo in photoshop. Not what I want to do! I had to restore an old version. PLEASE BRING THIS BACK IT'S MESSING UP MY WORKFLOW SO BADLY :(

1 vote -
Bridge 2023 (version 13.0.3.693) still too buggy, unusable in this state!!!
Bridge 2023 (version 13.0.3.693) still too buggy, unusable!!!
On start the folders panel always shows the root instead of the working folder, so I always have to scroll it. It's not a serious problem, just annoying.
Viewing photos in fullscreen (space bar) stepping between two photos vice-versa they are alwys load, resulting a pixelly flickering when switching between the photos. It makes Bridge unusable to select which is better!
Selecting color labels... randomly shows or does not show photos with the selected label.
ETC.!
ADOBE, I SUGGEST YOU TO CANCEL THIS VERSION AND START 13.0.0.0 AGAIN ABSOLUTELY FROM SCRATCH, BECAUSE…

Date Range Search Criteria
When searching for items in Bridge that need to be within a range of dates, when I use the "Date Created" option that is "greater than" AND use "lesser than", it still applies 'OR' in the search logic, so both search criteria nulls each other out and I end up seeing all files created ever in that directory. Please add/ fix this.

'Duplicate' Option within "Find" Criteria
Along with "Add" and "Delete", it would be great to add a button to "Duplicate" a search criteria item, especially when searching for ranges or series of items. Being able to click one button to do that would save several moments of adding a new criteria item and goign through the dropdowns and re-clicking (or even re-typing) something you already input.

group images for HDR and Stacking in Bridge
It would be nice to have a way to show grouped images for HDR and Stacking in Bridge so that you can mark several images that belong together. Currently there is no way to group several photos that make up one HDR image or one stacked image. Since HDR and focus stacking are now becoming essential to create dynamic images, it would be nice if Bridge allows you to see which images make up the HDR or stacked groupings when looking at the film strip. I know that you can gerry rig something using color codes but then this does…

Manual sort of Collections does not migrate to new version
For many years whenever I upgrade Bridge my manual sorts do not transfer to the new version of Bridge. I realize this may be due to some error that occurred quite a few years ago. However, the problem continues. The manual sort information is stored in text files. It is still present in the files corresponding to older versions of Bridge. I have found a workaround that a regular Bridge user like myself should not have to use. I can copy and edit the text files and everything works perfectly. There seems like there should be a better way for…

Able to save as catalog
Be able to save a folder with image files and etc as a catalog similar to iViewMedia Pro. I have a folder with mostly medium size jpegs (50K+) for reference and it take several minutes to load every time I access that folder.

Native integration with MacOS Photos library (e.g., albums, etc.)
I would LOVE to be able to use Bridge to manage the photos in my MacOS Photos library. Apple has done a nice job making a seamless experience across devices, but the Photos app is lacking, and I'd love to see this integration (see RAW Power app for an example of this type of integration).

Bridge content window "loses its place"
When unfiltering (or leaving Camera Raw), the Content window "loses its place." This is a bug, as previous versions of did not behave this way. To recreate, perform this procedure:
1) Work in a folder that has, say, 100 images
2) Filter those images by some method
3) Select an image in the middle of the results
4) Uncheck the filter
5) Note how the content window does not "zoom" to the image that is still selected. Instead, the content window goes somewhere else, and the image is no longer within the confines of the window.
6) Use the left…1 vote
