icon color
Please refrain from changing the color scheme when you update the program icons (as seen in desktop shortcuts, taskbars, etc). If you get used to using a color as a quick visual reference when switching between programs, a change is disconcerting. Also, the new, really dark background icons are harder to pick out overall against the black background of a windows taskbar.

I agree this is crazy. As a company that prides itself on great UI - this change is not going in the right direction. While you still have 'favorites' shown in color - collections and smart collections are in greyscale - making it extremely hard to differentiate between the two.
The purpose of any software is to enhance your life and make it more efficient - not hamper your task. This greyscale choice slows down any workflow for your users.
In turn, I would ask that the size of the icons be enlarged too - so that the user has a choice in the preferences. As is (and I'm using quite a large screen) the UI is extremely frustrating and small to interact with. Please see the attached screen shot...
