We are happy to announce the release of Adobe Bridge 2024 (Version 14.0.0.102).

Any hope this might be fixed? Appreciate not everyone uses colour profiles, much less the sync functionality but it's super annoying when you're doing it multiple times a day. Just want the list to be scrolled to the top, not the bottom on load...

Slightly more info on this - it works okay if you hold down 'ctrl'? Not sure why - you don't need to for Explorer, as mentioned; and it didn't work this way for the old version of Bridge.

Also means, if you drag the final photo onto your layout (which is a normal thing to do right? ah I've found the picture I want, I'll drop it into my InDesign layout/Photoshop document/Illustrator drawing) it means you're actually dropping two files in - the original one and the one you're dragging. Very annoying!

Did switch back for a bit, by the way - but losing Image Processor and Batching is killer (don't want to have to downgrade Photoshop too). It's a real toss up between losing that functionality and regaining the productivity from the new window option!

On Windows, the killer using the tear-off tabs, as opposed to Windows, is that you can't use Windows Snap (or FancyZones from Power Tools), as it doesn't see the torn off tab as a window. So there's no quick, flexible assigning a new tab to a useful space - it's instead a laborious dragging and resizing affair.
I get that this system is decent in After Effects and Premier - but there you tend to have a few set configurations that work really well for specific tasks. Bridge is way more flexible - it's a file browser at its core, and there's a really good reasons that you want it to be reconfigurable quickly - and this new system isn't - at all!

This seems to be related to Windows Power Tools 'Fancy Zones'. With "Keep windows in their zones when the screen resolution or work area changes" disabled it becomes difficult to reproduce. Suspect the full screen preview is calling something that Fancy Zones regards as a work area change so is actually showing the preview offscreen.
