Hi,
This feature is now released as part of Bridge v10.0.
Please upgrade Bridge to v10.0 to see the change.
At the bottom of the Content pane, you should uncheck “Show Tiles”. After Tiles are removed, go to Edit→Preferences→Interface→Image Backdrop to change the slider to pure white.
Thanks,
Teja
Senior Product Manager,
Adobe BridgeAn error occurred while saving the comment Andrew Southard commentedSame but for a different reason in one of my main workflows:
I use dark UI (avoiding eye strain) but do a ton of work with transparent PNG tech drawing files. With a dark or transparency grid background, I can't distinguish things at a glance, but since the latest "update" the only way I can get solid white(ish) behind the graphics is with a glaring light UI. Please revert to where I had the choice.

Hi Bridge Team,
I shall update Bridge 2023 to the latest version and have a look - yes, that error is fixed; however, it's academic as the program is no longer fit for purpose now tabs have replaced new windows. Unless new windows are reinstated, I shall stay using Bridge 2022, like many others whose workflows were destroyed with the tabs debacle.
Thanks,
Andrew
