    Hi,

In Bridge CC 2019, cache is built for a folder immediately when it is opened in the content panel. This operation is not blocking and You can continue to work in folders where cache is already generated. It is not required to use the 'Build and export Cache' option under Tools Menu.

'Build and export Cache' option is useful in a collaborative environment with multiple users working on same resources over the network. However, this operation is blocking. More information about this can be found at https://helpx.adobe.com/bridge/using/centrally-manage-bridge-cache.html

    Thanks,
    Siddharth
