Hi,
This feature is now released as part of Bridge v10.0.
Please upgrade Bridge to v10.0 to see the change.
At the bottom of the Content pane, you should uncheck “Show Tiles”. After Tiles are removed, go to Edit→Preferences→Interface→Image Backdrop to change the slider to pure white.
Thanks,
Teja

An error occurred while saving the comment Kukurykus commentedA Year ago Windows update aligned file names to left that I didn't like. For years they were centered that I prefered. Now we have the same in Bridge, however I'd like an option in Preferences we could choose wheter they were centered or aligned to left edge.

Hi,
This feature has been released in Bridge v10.0. You can update Bridge to see this feature.
At the bottom of the Content Pane, there is an option to hide Tiles and ‘Show Thumbnails only’. If tiles are hidden, the image backdrop can be changed to pure black from Edit→Preferences→Interface→Image backdrop.
Thank you for your feedback on User Voice.
Regards,
Teja V.

Bring back Star Ratings to be optional, and give a choise for Thumbnail background colour!
