Any chance scrolling will work there? An error occurred while saving the comment Chris Page commented@Marty
this happens on a ThinkPad too? I thought this was just an Apple touch/surface scroll issue. Is this an issue will all touch surfaces?
An error occurred while saving the comment Chris Page commentedyep... 2021 version installed. Still infuriating to use.
Has anyone found a good alternative to Adobe Bridge yet?
I'm going to pitch it to Affinity.
An error occurred while saving the comment Chris Page commentedMaybe @adobe is waiting for 2021 to FIX Bridge. If they TRY to FIX BRIDGE is 2020, they might Blow it up.
An error occurred while saving the comment Chris Page commentedI was told by an Adobe employee that this was going to be fixed in the next update... a few updates ago. I don't know if they think they fixed it and therefore checked off that box and never looked back or what. But I have yet to see any improvement. Still a pain in the ass to navigate with a mouse.
An error occurred while saving the comment Chris Page commentedGood idea @datadaddy,
I thought that might've led me to a solution as well. I have Better Touch Tool, but I can't seem to find a way to force multi-finger scrolling on the mouse.
If anyone else has BTT and can figure that out, please let me know.cheers
An error occurred while saving the comment Chris Page commentedI was able to talk to a couple Tech people from Adobe about the scrolling issues. at least the ones that I have, which is in the Folders Pain using a Magic Mouse.
They are aware of my issue now... but don't seem to understand why or how it's happening. They were genuinely interested in trying to fix it, but I feel they may have dropped it again in favour of other issues?Anyhow, I highly recommend you pull up a chat window with them. They are responsive now, and you get disconnected, they might even call you (if they have your number).
I have a few threads featuring how the scrolling hasn't worked at all for YEARS.

An error occurred while saving the comment Chris Page commentedthis would be nice, I often forget to look through the pages of PDFs and .Ai files.
you can do so in the preview pain, but a tiny icon on the thumbnail might be a nice reminder to take a look.Chris Page supported this idea · -

An error occurred while saving the comment Chris Page commentedIf this is because you don't want it to preview the Large PSB files, you can change the Maximum Preview thumbnail to something like 1000MB. That way it would try rendering the massive files.
Pref / thumbnails / Do not process thumbnails larger than __

An error occurred while saving the comment Chris Page commentedInterestingly enough, eps files—which are the base format for pdf and illustrator files (correct me if I am wrong)—have useful METADATA... Bridge is able to share DPI and converts that info into both IN and CM.
If thats the case, then perhaps this removed data could be put back... or not blocked?
An error occurred while saving the comment Chris Page commentedI'm looking at a print ad file right now and it's dimensions are 378 x 594.
What does that even mean?
Even if i was a savant, and could divide these numbers by the arbitrary 72 dpi/ppi that still doesn't tell me if that's the crop size or bleed size.
Not only that, but the Preview image is HALF that! Why is a preview image for an ad that's 5" x 8" on my screen only 1.75" x 2.75" it's almost useless.

Could you imagine if Chrome or Safari made an update that caused this?
Netscape would be more popular.
