   I have this same problem in the latest PS/Bridge May, 2021 update versions -- PS 22.4 and Bridge 11.0.2.123, running on Windows 10 Pro.

   What a hassle, since I upload camera images daily. And this problem has been documented since 2018!? Is Adobe trying to cripple the workflow of folks who opt for using Bridge instead of Lightroom?

   Don't remember having this problem on my old Mac workstation before I switched to Windows PC.
