Perhaps make Thumb size slider, Tile, Thumbnails only and Use * for Labels & Ratings, optional to hide or view. I agree that the file count and activity status are the most important to display however it is the item that is eclipsed when content panel is not wide.

It looks like the screen captures did not attach with the first comment.

I am not certain I address this question exactly but . . .
The view of Metadata panel in Bridge 2019 right after my update from 2018 to 2019 (9.1 MacOS) included a large horizontal space between 'columns'. Example, gap between 'Filename' and "screen Shot 2021 . . . ." in 'wide_gap_textwrap.png', where the filename wraps (hard to read), Diemsions does not dislpay height value.
Sometimes the long filename will wrap, sometimes it will not wrap. However I found that the gap between the title and the value of the field can be altered.
Screen capture 'gap_adjusted.png' shows where to hover the mouse; an icon displays, then click and drag the icon allows you to adjust the gap between the title and the value.
This was a new one for me and has helped make the panel values much easier to read.

It is still there, but not just at bottom of all panels, but at bottom of Content panel.
True, but it does not show entirely unless the content panel is large enough to display check box options for Thumb size slider, Tiles, Thumbnails only and Use * for Labels & Ratings.
