You may use palette together with BridgeTalk as workaround:

I use narrower Preview and all longer names are displayed in full in version 9.1.0.338.

We are happy to announce the release of Adobe Bridge 2024 (Version 14.0.0.102).

The day it started to happen only CameraRaw was uptodated, so probably that's the cause.
