If only the metadata panel showed info useful to print designers – like proper dimensions of INDD and PDFs in cm and mm. Have been asking for this since 2012 though so not holding my breath.

WHY IS THIS STILL NOT FIXED??

Please fix this immediately, it should take only minutes.

At the moment it causes the following scenario:
    1. User copies FILE A from bridge to somewhere else (eg. email)
    2. User goes to a different folder in Bridge
    3. User tries to copy FILE B from dock downloads to Bridge into this folder
    4. FILE A is moved into the folder instead!!!
    5. User deletes FILE A from this folder thinking they've done something wrong

FILE A IS NOW GONE FROM BOTH FOLDERS – if this is on a network drive it's deleted permanently!!

PLEASE FIX THIS DANGEROUS BUG WHICH HAS BEEN AROUND FOR YEARS!!!!!!!!!!

Just bumping this issue again, it's been a year and a fix should take minutes. What's the hold up?

Can you please let us know how long until this will be fixed? It's really hindering our workflow, and seems like it would be reasonably fast to fix.

Still no comment on this – I'm really starting to think that the devs who have inherited this software have lost sight of what it is supposed to be used for. They seem to be adding arbitrary 'enhancements' that no one is asking for (and in some cases rolling them back) and ignoring these long-standing fundamental problems.

That helps but it's slow and uses a lot of HDD space if you have thousands of files. Quick Look doesn't rely on caching large previews, so I'm sure it's possible in Bridge too.

Still crickets chirping on this suggestion, sadly.

    Great points, thanks!
But even if you put ethics to one side, we should be sending Adobe the bill for replacing our monitors when they’re suffering from burn-in due to Bridge not even letting the screen saver start

Glad you found a solution, but the fact that you needed to is beyond ridiculous. Adobe, please live up to your sustainability values and let our computers go to sleep!

Great work Chris. Inertial scrolling would be ideal, like everything else in MacOS... but even if it scrolled more smoothly so you could keep track of what you're looking at that would be a win!

Yeah my bad, it's still broken. For some reason it worked fine when I checked after the update, so it may depend on certain factors or be intermittent.

I've been asking for this for about six years! I don't understand why this is so hard. They may need to talk to the other teams to request they include this in the actual metadata, but even if that's not possible I refuse to believe they couldn't find a workaround to get this vital info into Bridge.
