and maybe actions out of photoshopthis would be a huge timesaver if we could build workflows with contact sheets and before the contact sheet have a little color correction.

Batch Rename - Add Title Case or Sentence Case Option
Batch rename only offers Original case, Uppercase or Lowercase options. I believe that it is long overdue to have either Sentence Case and or more intelligent Title Case/Proper Case. Bonus points if there could be an underlying preference text file where one could build a dictionary/library lookup to handle special cases.

Test your new releases before you publish them
I just want to commend you on screwing up Bridge with the latest release. Apparently you don't test your new releases. The selection drop boxes on Batch Rename don't work properly using the mouse. I rolled back to the previous release before you MADE BRIDGE BETTER.

Batch renamed not working .ACR files
Hey Folks,
My normal photography workflow consists of timesyncing in Bridge, and doing the bulk ofmy photographic toning/contrast etc in Adobe Camera. When I'm done I batch rename everything so it stays time synced. When I rename the .CR2 file the match .XMP file also gets renamed so they stay linked and my edits remain on the renamed file.
Now with the new masking option in Bridge 2022, the program is creating an additional .ACR file in addition to the .XMP file but the issue is when I rename my file only the .XMP file gets renamed, not the .ACR…

Rename file extension (uppercase or lowercase)
When batch rename/rename is used it would be a welcome feature request to have an option to make the file extension capitalized, lowercase or change it entirely - this feature could find a spot in Preferences.
I often use Batch Rename and the one thing that I don't like is when I use List View or open up File Explorer some filenames have an uppercase extension and some have a lowercase extension ... but I'm not going to spend the time manually changing the extensions to match.

Batch rename with dimensions in mm (millimetres)
Currently only allows height and width in pixels.

Return to original image after renaming
When renaming an image or images, after the changes are applied the focus changes to the first image in the folder. That means I must scroll through many images to return to my previous position.
It would be good if the focus remained on the image from which you started the renaming process.

Batch rename tool
I rename my raw images using AB. when importing from my camera cards, before importing into Lightroom. AB gives me the format of YYYYMMDD, like 20210428. the string of numbers is sometimes confusing if the day is less than 12. When I import into Lightroom, I have to rename a second time , as Lightroom gives me the option of YYYYMMMDD, so the final name is 2021APR28. since LR already does this, it would be very helpful if the naming options are common to both products. and safe me an extra step. When you select certain image it select all the images. That means you have to select them, place them as a separate file. ???

Naming patterns in Adobe Bridge
I would like to see an improved naming option in Adobe Bridge. I have two cameras and would like to incorporate a naming system to identify the two types of cameras that i have when selecting metadata and then choose Camera Model as a naming convention. You have other options except that. I like the option of using dates etc into one folder. Now that I have two cameras, i would like to get that naming option incorporated to the file.

Batch rename - selected directory(s)
when multiple folders are selected in the bridge, i notice that the option to batch rename files is greyed out.
it would be useful to allow the recursive naming of files in sub directories to be batch processed. in this case i want to search for a pattern --- that was introduced when exporting to web from photoshop on several hundred images and replace the --- with -2 votes -

The AM/PM time of the export result is incorrect. Where I am (Eastern) it is after noon, but the time shows as AM. Finder's time and the metadata shown in Bridge is correct, however. Your choices of the issue does not list export, so I used Batch Rename.

Move to previous box with Shift+TAB
Missing feature - moving back to next text box in batch rename pane with Shift+TAB - it was present in previous verisons :) thanks a lot for bringing it back!

Add the option to remove "Preserved Filename" in metadata
Currently under Batch Rename there's an option to "Preserve current filename in XMP metadata" but there's no way to get rid of these preserved filenames after they are no longer useful (or simply because they disclose outdated or confidential information).
One way to do this would be to add a "remove preserved filename" checkbox to the Batch Rename dialog box; that way you could just rename the the files a second time to clear the preserved filename.

Tweak_option in regular rename not offered in Advanced rename
a tweak actually, option in regular not in Advanced Rename- option YYYYMMMDD missing.
I cannot find my file naming nirvana style yet- but I like YYYYMMMDD (PSST, THE MONTH IS SPELLED OUT), then I thought I would add the camera's original name.
Because of so many transfers, reloads, copies- I thought this might help identify duplicates better.
In the Advanced Rename box, I almost got what I wanted. It's a little thing: but I like to see the Month spelled out and then date instead a bunch of numbers.1 vote
